A group of well-educated, primed and enthusiastic students from Tamrookum State School attended a Robotics Workshop at Beaudesert State High School. Students from all over the district attended the fun-filled day, with the aim of the workshop to improve team work and increase knowledge of Robotics and Coding.
Our eight students were split into two groups and competed against 16 other schools in the district. Luckily, for our students, they were well schooled in Coding and Robotics and were able to come away with a WIN. The students were fantastic and very excited, having to build and code a robot to compete in the competition. The winning team members were Jack, Miles Jett and Zack. While the other awesome Tamrookum team consisted of Brianna, Emma, Lucy and Nevaeh.
For winning the Robotics Workshop Day of fun, our school was gifted a STEM set, which consisted of a Spike Prime Lego Education kit. In all, the students were absolutely fantastic, cooperated well and worked towards their goal of winning the day. Congratulations and very, very well done!!!
