Students at Tamrookum State School have access to an excellent range of technology resources.
Every classroom is equipped with a set of iPads, and either desktop computers or laptops. Each iPad is loaded with fun and engaging, age-appropriate apps and learning sites that develop literacy and numeracy including: Literacy Planet, Sumdog, Code.org., Scratch, Reading Eggs,
StudyLadder, Times Tables, etc .
Our desktop computers and laptops are used to access learning sites. Students also learn to create written projects using Microsoft Word in preparation for high school.
Our Prep room features a data projector for when videos are incorporated into learning. All other year level classrooms have interactive TVs, allowing teachers to deliver learning material in a dynamic and engaging way.
The Library features a further 8 desktops, for students to work on their projects or access learning sites.
